Toppenish City Council seeks input on Public Safety
The Toppenish City Council is looking for input and ideas on how our city can be a safer place for residents and visitors. The City Council has reconvened the Council’s Public Safety Committee. The group meets at 5:00 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, as needed. Councilmember Cristian Sanchez, Councilmember Naila Prieto Duval, and Councilmember George Garcia are inviting community members to share and identify problems they see in the community, what they feel needs to change, and provide some ideas on how to make a difference in helping reduce crime and violence in Toppenish.
If you have public safety issues that need to be addressed or ideas that you think could help improve public safety but are unable to attend the meetings, the Council still wants to hear from you. Submit your comments and concerns by email to publicsafety [at] cityoftoppenish.us (publicsafety[at]cityoftoppenish[dot]us). You can also provide written comments at Toppenish City Hall in person or by mail, addressed to the City of Toppenish Public Safety Committee 21 W 1st Ave., Toppenish WA 98948. Your issues and comments are important to the committee members. Help our Council to help Toppenish be a safe place for everyone to live, work, and visit.
