Toppenish City Council Approves Interlocal Agreement with Yakima County Fire District No. 5
TOPPENISH, Wash. — June 9, 2026 — The Toppenish City Council voted Monday evening to approve an interlocal agreement between the City of Toppenish and Yakima County Fire District No. 5 for fire protection and emergency medical services. The agreement was approved during the Council’s June 8, 2026 regular meeting.
The agreement formalizes the partnership between the City and Yakima County Fire District No. 5 and supports continued coordination in delivering emergency response services to the Toppenish community.
